Clare Election Candidate Concerned Dáil Split Will Push Farming Issues Off The Radar

A Clare farming representative is expressing concern that the split in the Dáil following the General Election will mean farming issues will fall off the radar.

Joseph Woulfe ran in the election last weekend, polling 1,218 first-preference votes and eventually being knocked out on the sisxth count.

He is now seeking re-election as Clare chair of the Beef Plan Group – a position he was forced to vacate while seeking a public office – and says it’s crucial that farming is top of the agenda for Clare’s four new TDs.
