Clare-based Dunnes Stores workers say they will escalate industrial action beyond one day, if necessary.

They'll join staff from 100 stores around the country in a national protest march to the company's head office in Dublin on June 6th having voted unanimously in favour of the action at a meeting this week.
6,000 Dunnes workers attached to the Mandate Trade Union took industrial action at the beginning of the month as part of their campaign for better conditions of employment.
Mandate's Divisional Organiser for Clare Karen Wall has told Clare FM that they will continue to protest until Dunnes Stores management engages with workers
