Fianna Fail TD Timmy Dooley says that he’s regularly approached by constituents highlighting the sky-rocketing price of car insurance.
It’s estimated that the average premium has risen by up to 40%, as insurers claim they’ve had to raise their premiums as a result of high pay-outs and insurance fraud.
