Clare's County Dog Warden says needless cruelty was inflicted on a pup who was found seriously injured in Ennis.

The terrier pup, believed to be around 5 weeks old, was discovered with extensive injuries by a young teenager in bushes near Our Lady's hospital.
It had suffered a broken back and two broken back legs and died before it could be brought to a vet.
Frankie Coote believes an attempt was made to deliberately kill the animal.
