Clare Disability Campaigners To Join National Protest Following Payment Cuts

Clare disability campaigners are set to join a national protest next week following severe payment cuts.

According to the Disability Federation of Ireland, many disability households in Clare are up to €1,400 worse off than they were last year, following cuts to “one-off” supports in Budget 2026.

Ennistymon-based disability rights activist Ann Marie Flanagan says people are being forced to look elsewhere.
