The Credit Union restructuring board has facilitated the merger of three branches in the Ennis area.

The amalgamation of St. Francis’ Credit Union in Ennis, Fergus Credit Union, LIssycasey and Ss. Peter & Paul Credit Union in Clarecastle has now been completed, in a move affecting 30,000 members.
The combined entity will have assets of around 150 million euro, and the Restructuring Board says the move will allow better products and services for members.
