Clare Covid-19 Vaccination Centre Re-locating Next Week

The Clare COVID-19 Vaccination Centre is relocating from next week.

The UL Hospitals Group says the decision has been taken as the vaccination programme enters a new and steadier phase nationally, following a period of demand for booster doses before Christmas and the subsequent spike in Omicron cases.

The group has thanked Treacy’s West County Hotel for providing the space deliver a large scale vaccination programme for the local population.

From Friday next week, the clinic will move to the old outpatients department at Ennis Hospital and the UL Hospitals Group says it anticipates that it will have the capacity to meet demand for booster doses in the latest phase of the vaccination programme.
