Clare County Dog Warden Warns Gardaí Will Prosecute Sale Of Puppies At Horse Fairs

Clare’s County Dog Warden is warning that Gardaí are prepared to prosecute anyone illegally selling puppies at horse fairs.

Last week, Gardaí were called to Kilrush where a man was attempting to sell five puppies which were unvaccinated and without microchips.

The man was unaware of the legislation preventing such a sale and avoided prosecution due to the fact he surrendered the dogs to the authorities.
