Clare County Council says engagement with prospective tenderers for the Killaloe bypass project remains ongoing.
A meeting of municipal district Councillors has been told this week that contruction works remain on target to begin in the area by the Spring of 2022.
The local authority has set the tender return date for a month’s time, with a contract to be awarded to a preferred bidder by the end of this year.
