Taoiseach Tells Council To “Get On With” Obtaining Management Of Shannon Heritage Sites

The Taoiseach says Clare County Council needs to “get on with” obtaining the management of three Shannon Heritage sites.

Shannon Group has been in discussions to transfer the operation of Knappgoue Castle, Craggaunowen and Bunratty Castle & Folk Park to the local authority here since last summer.

It’s understood the move is expected to be formally completed before the end of the year and will require formal Government approval before taking affect.
