Susan Crawford Co-Opted Onto Clare County Council

Green Party members have selected autism Consultant Dr Susan Crawford to take the Council seat vacated by Senator Roísín Garvey.

The Inagh native, living in Miltown, is a lecturer and researcher at UCC and a two time Fulbright Award winner and was this year announced as the latest recipient of the Clare Person of the Year award.

Last year, Dr Crawford raised awareness about autism and provided training to people throughout the country as she and her son Tomás, who has autism, completed a 2,500km run along the entire route of the Wild Atlantic Way.
