Johnny Flynn Takes Over As Mayor Of Ennis

Fine Gael’s Johnny Flynn has been named as the new Mayor of Ennis.

The Tulla Road-based Councillor will take over from Fianna Fáil’s Clare Colleran-Molloy for the upcoming term of the Ennis Municipal District, with Ann Norton serving as deputy.

He received full support at last evening’s AGM of the Ennis MD and this marks his second term as the town mayor, having last served in 2014.

Meanwhile, Independent Councillor Gerry Flynn has been retained as Cathaoirleach in the Shannon Municipal District for another year.

Fianna Fáil’s Pat McMahon will serve as Leas Cathaoirleach for the year ahead.
