Hopes That Lahinch Swim Ban Can Be Lifted In Coming Days

Clare County Council has expressed hope that a swimming ban in Lahinch can be lifted within the coming days.

The ban was implemented yesterday, on the advice of the HSE yesterday, after heavy rainfall and runoff from the surrounding land led to high levels of bacteria in the sea water.

If follows a bathing advisory notice last week, which was issued for a similar reason.
