Council Says It’s Reached Agreement With ‘Key Stakeholder’ For Cloughaninchy Flood Relief Scheme

Clare County Council says it’s reached an agreement with a ‘key stakeholder’ in the progression of a flood relief scheme in the West of the county.

Residents in Cloughaninchy were heavily impacted by adverse weather conditions eight years ago and are still waiting for protective works to be put in place.

The local authority has now told elected members that remaining land agreements for the scheme are being finalised and could be completed in the coming weeks.
