CLDC To Support Engagement With ‘Marginalised Communities’ In Pilot Project

The Clare Local Community Development Committee has been selected to support engagement with marginalised communities in planning and decision making processes.

Clare’s one of just four groups across the country earmarked for the pilot scheme, along with entities in Fingal, Galway City and Wicklow.

The project aims to develop tool kits that can be adapted and used by local authorities, including Clare County Council, and other state agencies to enable better engagement with ‘hard to reach’ groups.
