Clare Mayor’s New York St Patrick’s Day Trip Cancelled

The Mayor of Clare has confirmed that a planned trip to New York for St Patrick’s Day celebrations has been called off.

Clare Colleran Molloy was due to fly stateside with Chief Executive of Clare County Council, Pat Dowling this Saturday, but the situation remained under review in light of the Coronavirus outbreak.

Today a decision has been taken not to travel, due to the dangers associated with the travel.
