Call On Council To Halve Paper Usage

Clare County Council has been urged to reduce the amount of paper it uses.

The local authority has been told that, considering the current focus on climate change, it should attempt to aim to cut its paper use by half.

The Council says it is keen on becoming more green and is improving their management of waste, and will include paper reduction in this.

Independent Councillor Ann Norton knows it may not be possible to go completely paper free but believes a significant reduction can be made within 12 months.
