Clare County Council has announced that all street furniture license fees will be waived for the duration of the COVID-19 period.
The decision was made following consultation with stakeholders inside and outside the county and is aimed at businesses who are re-opening after the COVID crisis.

Businesses will still have to make an application for a license and it will be assessed on public health and safety grounds.
The Council is vowing that all applications will be processed as quickly as possible.
