Clare County Council Urges Social Distancing At Swimming Hotspots

Clare County Council is urging people to abide by social distancing regulations if they travel to any of Clare’s beaches over the bank holiday weekend.

While swimming restrictions have been put in place at a number of the county’s coastal hotspots, many will still use the long weekend as a chance to take a dip either in the sea or inland.

The usual advice regarding safe swimming remains, while in areas where large crowds could gather people are also urged to follow coronavirus guidelines, especially in the wake of a spike in cases here over recent days.
