Clare County Council has objected to calls for reduced parking charges in Ennis, because it would cost too much.

This week's meeting of the Ennis Municipal Authoirty heard calls for parking in the town to be reduced to one euro per hour, even on a trial basis.
However, the local authority says it would cost 10,000 euro to alter parking machines.
The issue of parking will be covered in workshops which will be held in the New Year, but Ennis area Fianna Fáil Councillor Colleran Molloy says she is concerned:
