Clare County Council wish to advise that due to essential road improvement works ,the R474 will be closed for a half mile section west of the Kilmaley Inn Cross from Monday 17th October to Friday 21st October from 9.00 a. m. to 4.30 p.m. daily.

All heavy traffic travelling between Ennis and Milltown Malbay are advised to travel via Inagh.
Local traffic travelling from Connolly to Ennis should divert via the L8354 via the "Bogdale Inn" onto Kilmaley cross roads.
Local traffic travelling westwards from Ennis to Connolly, should turn right at Kilmaley Inn crossroads via L4204 and L8280 and back onto to the R474.
All diversion routes will be signposted and Clare County Council apologise for any inconvenience caused.
