Clare County Council has received two nominations for this year’s Excellence in Local Government Awards.
Now in its 21st year, the Chambers Ireland event features a total of 98 Local Authority projects shortlisted across 15 categories, reflecting the dedication and innovation taking place at local government level, with one Local Authority named Local Authority of the Year for 2024.
This year, a record number of 191 submissions were received from 27 Local Authorities for the awards, which are held annually in conjunction with the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
Clare County Council has received nominations in the Supporting Tourism and Age Friendly Initiative categories.
