Clare County Council has published a contract worth €200,000 for the extension of a public car park in Ennis.
The development will see more than 60 parking spaces created on the northside of the county town.
The local authority is seeking a contractor to deliver additional parking in the Gort Road Industrial Park in Ennis.
The development would include the removal and realignment of existing kerb line for the provision of 62 macadam-based parking spaces.
Also involved in the works would be the provision of manholes, gullies, drainage pipework and associated works as well as signing and road markings.
February 21st has been stated as the tenders opening date for a 12-month contract worth an estimated €200,000, with the successful tender valid for 90 days.
The local authority first applied for planning permission for the development in August of last year but withdrew the application before submitting a similar one in September which has yet to be approved despite a decision being due on December 12th.
