Clare County Council “Adequately Prepared” For Winter Cold Snap

Clare County Council is assuring it’s “adequately prepared” to maintain the county’s roads throughout the winter cold snap.

It comes as a low level yellow cold and ice warning comes into effect for Clare and 22 other counties this evening from 6 o’clock and will remain in place until midday on Friday.

Met Éireann is warning that temperatures could fall below -3 degrees in many places, while frost and ice will cause hazardous travelling conditions.
