Clare Councillors To Meet With Planning Regulator Later This Year

Clare Councillors are set to meet with the Planning Regulator later this year amid ongoing concerns regarding the next County Development Plan.

A motion tabled by Councillor PJ Kelly to discuss the impact of the strategy on towns and villages in the county with the independent body was passed by elected representatives last month.

In a letter seen by Clare FM, Niall Cussen, who previously worked for Clare County Council, has suggested an ‘autumn date’ for the meeting due to the plan’s current status.
