Clare Councillors heading state side for Patrick’s Day insist its money well spent

The Mayor of Clare feels the cost of sending local representatives and Council officials to the US for St. Patrick’s Day is money well spent.

Ennis Councillor Pat Daly along with the county manager is to visit Chicago and New York,  while representatives from Ennis, Shannon and Kilrush Town Councils are also heading for the states.

The total cost is expected to be just over 6,000 euro.

Mayor of Clare Councillor Pat Daly say these journeys are vital to develop cultural and business links which he hopes will be of wider benefit to the county.
