Clare Councillors Call For Contingency Plans For Staffing Of Ennis Injury Unit

Clare Councillors are calling for contingency plans to be put in place in case of future staffing issues in the Ennis Injury Unit.

The facility was forced to close for a day last month at short notice due to what was described at the time as ‘short term staffing deficits’.

Elected representatives this week put on record their concerns about the issue recurring this winter, in a scenario which they say could lead to the public ‘losing confidence’ in the Ennis unit.
