Councillors in Clare have voted to approve their draft budget of €117 million for 2019.

It’s an increase of €6 million on last year’s, though the General Municipal Allocations for each of the four districts in Clare has been cut by €75,000, which led to some concern from West Clare councillors in particular about the overall budget.
