A Clare County Councillor is criticising comments by the Environment Minister on the homeless crisis saying he's merely passing the blame.

Alan Kelly has claimed he'd get more funding to deal with the crisis if he looked for it, but that 'greater co-operation' is needed from local authorities.
Kilalloe Fianna Fáil Councillor Tony O'Brien says the Council here has been proactive in dealing with homelessness but believes resources need to be distributed quicker to deal with growing demand.
Councillor O'Brien told Clare FM that the Minister needs to take a hands on approach to dealing with the crisis.
