Clare Connections To National Broadband Plan Could Be Delayed By Pandemic

Building works for connecting areas of Clare in the rollout of the National Broadband Plan have been hit by delays as a result of the pandemic.

Areas in East and South East Clare have been among the first to be surveyed for the scheme, which is part of the early stages of rolling out broadband to homes.

However, the percentage of surveys carried out in Clare as a whole compared to other counties remains among the lowest in the country.
