Clare Coastal Wind Power is to appeal the rejection of its plans to construct a wind farm near Doonbeg.

The proposals had received objections from several corners, including US Billionaire Donald Trump, who owns the near by Trump International Golf Links.
The company has now lodged an appeal to An Bord Pleanála against Clare Co Council's decision to refuse planning permission for the 20 million euro, nine-turbine plan.
