The world’s smallest and most remote chocolate factory which is based in Clare will be showcased at a prestigeous food festival in Dublin.
The Bite Food Festival, which takes place in the RDS from Thursday until Sunday next week will feature top chefs and food experts as well as a huge range of producers from around the country.
Hazel Mountain Chocolate is based on a small farm near the Burren and is about to expand its products into Scandinavia, where their seaweed chocolate has already gained recognition.
The internationally award-winning factory started just four years ago when John Connolly and his Polish-born chocolatier wife Kashia decided to learn how to become chocolate makers.
