Clare Children Could Receive Presents Early As Met Eireann Say Santa Will Approach From The South

Clare could be one of the first counties visited by Santa tomorrow night as Met Eireann say he’ll approach Ireland from the south.

Santa Claus has been in constant contact with Met Eireann’s general forecaster and aviation forecaster over the past week in preparation for his arrival to Ireland.

Key factors which will influence Santa’s route are wind direction and the location of areas of high and low pressure.

 

Met Eireann’s Michelle Dillon, who’s originally from Tullycrine, says southerly winds on Saturday night will see Santa arrive to Munster first.
