A Clare childcare provider is calling for more transparency and openness surrounding regulation within the sector.
Cabinet approval has been given for proposals that would change the legal status of childminders, allowing parents access to the National Childcare Scheme, if their child goes to a childminder.

Stronger powers will also be give to Tusla early years inspectors, which could see childcare providers shut down, if they’re deemed to be non-compliant.
