Clare Childcare Committee Welcomes Commitment To Slash Childcare Costs

A 10-year strategy to reform childcare and drastically reduce its costs is being welcomed in Clare, despite no promises of a quick fix.

Children’s Minister Katherine Zappone has handed over plans for the radical overhaul to an expert group, which will be introduced over the next decade.

The plan will propose that Ireland follows the example set by other countries which have transformed childhood care and educational facilities into family support hubs.
