Clare's Sinn Féin election candidate claims that child and adult adolescent mental health services in the county are "running on empty".
Noeleen Moran says the Government has failed to deliver on its mental health committments, with 1200 fewer mental health staff now than ten years ago, despite a greater need for services.
She insists the problem lies with a shortage of consultant appointments in Clare due to a difficulty in finding a second consultant.
Noeleen is calling on the Government to speed up investment into frontline mental health services saying the crucial service is being starved of what it needs to provide struggling families with the help they need.
