A Clare Chef is encouraging the public to take simple steps to reduce food waste.
It follows a new survey from SuperValu which found that 94% of Irish families are throwing away food.

On average, Irish Households are discarding up to €700 of produce in their grocery shopping each year, with spoilage, expiration and overbuying the most common causes.
Seamus Fitzgerald from ABC Cookery in Ennis says keeping your desired meals in mind when making a shopping list can save money and plenty of good food.
