Clare Charity Shops Reporting ‘Unprecedented’ Demand Since Reopening

Clare’s charity shops say they’ve seen an ‘unprecdented’ rise in demand since their reopening.

Outlets in this county are reporting a spike in the number of younger customrs seeking more afforadble and sustainable items ahead of returning to college campuses.

The National Council for the Blind of Ireland is today launching its ‘Clear Our Paths’ campaign to create a safer and cleaner environment for the visually impaired.

Its Ennis Store Manager Mairead Lavery says there’s been an increase in people helping charitable causes since the onset of the pandemic.
