Clare Carer Of The Year Says Daughter’s Independence A Priority

An Ennis woman who’s been named Clare Carer of the Year says ensuring as much independence as possible for her daughter is her priority.

Clare Sydney Mulvey will travel to Dublin today where she one of four regional finalists competing for the overall national award.

Her 12-year-old daughter Isabella was born with a rare syndrome called Lumbosacral Agenesis which necessitates her using a wheelchair as her legs were amputated at the age of 7.
