Clare car dealers are expressing concerns about the combined impact of COVID-19 and Brexit on the industry.
New car registrations are down by almost 30% compared to the same period last year, with prices having fallen by over 20% since the 2016 Brexit referendum.
There are also claims that new car prices could rise by thousands of euro if taxes increase when Budget 2021 is announced next month.
