Clare's General Election candidates are being reminded that today is their final opportunity to take down their campaign posters.
After today, any remaining posters will be considered litter and candidates face fines of 150 euro per poster that remains in place.

Clare County Council say they will have teams on patrole around the county monitoring the situation.
Environmental Awareness Officer with the Council Karen Foley is also warning that cable ties need to be removed as well.
