Clare Cancer Survivor Says Vaccine Will Offer ‘Less Fear And More Hope’ For Patients

The vaccine is designed to train the immune system to recognise and attack cancer cells, potentially helping to prevent the disease from returning, which differs to chemo and immunotherapies, which can also damage healthy cells.

Skin Cancer survivor from Quin, Kate Moloney, says the vaccine could offer patients hope of avoiding some of the complications associated with cancer treatment, including lymphoedema.
