Clare Businesses Urged To Apply For Increased Costs Grant Before Deadline

Clare’s Fianna Fáil Senator admits the Government needs to do more for struggling businesses.

It comes as firms nationwide are being encouraged to apply for the Increased Cost Of Business Grant before the May 1st deadline.

In 2022, 80% of operators in Clare paId less than €8,000 in commercial rates and under the new grant scheme, eligible applicants will receive half of their rates payment back, with this figure to be capped at €5,000.
