The government is being called upon to treat Clare firms struggling with warehoused debt on a case by case basis.
Revenue is currently owed over €20m in taxes from Clare companies who deffered payments during the Pandemic due to cash flow issues.

Over 1,300 firms in this county are currently availing of the scheme and if repayments aren’t made by May 1st, higher interest rates of 8% to 10 % will apply.
