Clare Builder Optimistic That Construction Costs Will Level Out Later This Year

An Ennis builder beileves that the cost of materials will level out by the second half of this year.

A new survey by the Construction Industry Federation published this week found the sector is recovering well, with half of respondents reporting an increased turnover in the third quarter of 2021, compared with the previous year.

Around 99% said they were paying more for raw materials, however, with the vast majority expecting prices to continue rising.
