Clare Breast Cancer Survivor Says “There’s Always Light At The End Of The Tunnel”

A Clare Cancer Survivor is encouraging others to host or attend a unique fundraising event running this month to help patients on their journey.

Newmarket-On-Fergus woman Sharon Smyth was diagnosed with triple-negative aggressive breast cancer in 2012, shortly after her own father had passed away.

This month, The Irish Cancer Society is encouraging people to host or participate in a ‘Big Pink Breakfast’ Event that will aim to raise vital funds for their services.

Sharon says there’s always light at the end of the tunnel.
