A Clare woman who was diagnosed with breast cancer is encouraging others to explore what clinical trial options are available for them.
Sarah McGrath, originally from Clarecastle, underwent a lumpectomy and removal of lymph nodes, followed by chemotherapy and radiotherapy after she was diagnosed with the cancer in May 2020.

Following her treatment, Sarah chose to opt into the ‘Add Aspirin’ clinical trial to explore if the daily intake of the medication can prevent cancers from recurring.
International Clinical Trials Day takes place next Friday and Sarah McGrath says for her, taking part in a trial has been really reassuring.
