Clare-Born Priest Calls For Boycott Of TV License Following Fair City Confession Protrayal

A Clare-born priest is accusing RTE of ‘nitpicking’ and attempting to find fault with the Catholic Church.

It follows a scene in Fair City last weekend, which portrayed a character confessing to a priest that he had fathered her child when they were teenagers.

RTE insists there was no intention to cause offence with the storyline in question.
