Clare Beef Plan Chair Says Credit Scheme For Farmers May Be Needed To Ease Inflation Concerns

The Clare Chair of the Beef Plan Movement says a credit scheme for farmers may be needed to address inflation concerns.

It comes after concerns were raised as much as 20 percent of farmland in Clare is to be excluded from the new 55 million euro Fodder Support Scheme.

The purpose of the initiative is to incentivise and support farmers to grow grass and conserve sufficient fodder for the 2022 winter.
