The Clare-based outgoing CEO of Safe Ireland says the government need to put more resources in to modernising what she says is ’19th century’ infrastructure in curbing domestic violence.
Sharon O Halloran’s comments come as those working to support domestic abuse victims prepare for an expected increase in incidents over the festive period.
